Burt Lake Vacation

We were blessed to be able to spend a week of vacation up at Burt Lake in Michigan with my family at the end of June. It was a fantastic week, full of life (as it only could be with three kids under the age of 3!) and a good time for us all to connect!

Luke got to spend time with his Meme and Papa...

And his cousins, Mya and Gavin.

He got to "drive" Uncle Zach's boat (the captain's chair was the only acceptable place to sit on the boat for Luke).

He played on a great little playground we found...

And experienced a beach for the first time (at first, he wasn't so sure he liked the feeling of sand between his toes, but he quickly learned how fun sand could be...as is clearly evident in this picture and the ones that follow!)

And, perhaps Nate's favorite part, Luke learned how to pick up and hold a bug! The may fly hatch was in full swing, so they were everywhere and their large wings made them perfect for picking up. Daddy is so proud of his boy getting down and dirty with the bugs!

We were also able to take some walks and hikes while we were there.

The whole family! Thanks for a great week Caulk clan!
