Luke has enjoyed all the pleasures of fall this year and as usual, approaches life with gusto. You wouldn't believe how much joy a pile of leaves or a simple pumpkin could bring to this boy! The best part is that watching his excitement has allowed Nate and I to have a whole new appreciation for these things as well. We've had a ball this season, as evidenced from the pictures and videos below:

It's not all fun and games. We put him to work too!

But every chore has it's own reward, and for Luke, this was the grand prize! After discovering this new found pastime, he proceeded to go up and down the slide about 100 times in a row!

Think he liked it?

Every bit of it!!!
Here he is in action:
We also visited a couple different pumpkin patches this fall. Here is Luke and his daddy at Stoneycreek Farms.

Where Luke played on the "jumping pillow"...

Found a tractor to drive (if there is one, he WILL find it!)...

And crawled through the tunnel of tractor tires!

And perhaps Luke's favorite part of all, a hayride behind a real tractor to the pumpkin patch!

Checking out the pumpkins with Mommy (don't let these pictures fool you though! All Luke really wanted to do is get back on the tractor wagon! :) )

But, we did manage to pick a few pumpkins before we got back on!

He had so much fun at Stoneycreek and could not stop talking about the "pumkin patch", that later that week when we had beautiful weather, I asked Luke what he would like to do outside that afternoon, and without hesitation he said "Pumkin Patch"! So, we went back! We're glad we did because more activities were open with the nicer weather. Here is Luke climbing inside the giant inflatable caterpillar:

And looking at the farm animals!
Here we are at a different patch, taking another hayride behind a tractor:

Wonder how he's going to react to snow and Christmas trees??!! Can't wait to find out!
