The carnival came to town last week, and we just happened to be near it one night when we stopped by the mall to pick something up. Luke HAD to go check out the large objects that went round and round! So, I agreed to take him over and let him check it out (After all...I should expose him to new things like carnivals, right?). My intention was to just let him look and tell him about rides for big kids. Not sure what I was thinking, but of course, "I want to go on that" shortly followed. So...off I went to the ticket booth and purchased 3 tickets (for $3!!), and told Luke he could pick ONE ride! He chose this semi-truck ride that went around on a train track...the best of both worlds, I guess! I had to include this series of pictures on the blog, because what happened after that was pretty hilarious.

Not quite so sure when he first got on, but he was pretty pumped about the steering wheel!

Yeah...I like this! It's pretty fun!

Second time around the track (Zoom in and check out the face on this one!)
Needless to say, the ride operator stopped the ride (thank goodness he was the only one on it!), kindly gave us our tickets back and said "Take him on the carousel!".
Guess we'll be waiting a few more years before we try a carnival again! Can't say I'm too disappointed, since we can't afford a $3/ride fee anyway!
