We took Luke to see his first movie at the theater last night. We had been talking about taking him soon, and he always asks what the large building with lights is every time we go past it at the mall. When we discovered that "Finding Nemo" was coming to the theaters again, we knew we had to cease the opportunity, since this is one of his (if not the) favorite movie right now.
He thought this giant Nemo poster outside the theater was pretty awesome. Little did he know that the screen would be ten times its size!
We gave him the whole experience, popcorn and all! He absolutely LOVED it, and sat through the entire movie in his own seat. As an added bonus, it was in 3D (doesn't he look adorable in these glasses?!). I am sort of wondering if he's going to ask me where his glasses are next time we take him to a movie.
What a fun family date night! We may have to do this more often before he turns 3 (two year olds are free!)
And, when he got his 30 minutes of "tv time" this morning, guess what he asked to watch? Yep..."Finding Nemo"!
