Deep Sleep

We were never able to get too many pictures of Luke asleep after about the age of 6 months, as he was a very light sleeper for awhile. We even stopped going into his room to check on him at night and tuck him in one last time before we went to bed because just opening the door would rouse him. This was (and is) kind of sad, since those are such sweet moments and memories, but the cost of trying to get a baby or toddler back to sleep just wasn't worth it. So, I guess I'm making up for it now. Luke is usually completely out in the afternoons when we go in to wake him from his nap so that he can still have a decent bedtime. I love catching him in interesting positions. Like when he looked so sweet and cozy here, nestled between his pillow and Jack, the elephant:
