Luke seems to have a lot of friends these days. Most kids enjoy being around him, and Luke is not picky about his company. But, there are two very special kiddos that Luke can't stop talking about, and who he looks forward to spending time with the most. Jack and Emily.
We continue to share plenty of play dates with Jack. Sometimes, Luke plays at Jack's house, and sometimes Jack comes here (this gives the mommies a nice break, too!). The next several photos are from a recent play date at our house, where the boys kept busy painting on the sidewalk and having a water balloon fight! I love 3 year olds! Every new experience makes me the coolest person ever to them! They had a blast!!
Luke has also been spending a lot of time with Emily. We have been watching her on Thursdays so her mommy can finish her degree work. It is a lot of work to have a 1 year old in the house again, but Luke absolutely loves it! He takes on the "big brother role" very well, and has shown an immense amount of patience, flexibility, and love for Emily! He is constantly asking when it's going to be Thursday again so he can play with Em.
I hope that these two special friendships are the beginning of many great friendships in the future!
