Memphis Trip

We headed down to Memphis in July for the wedding of Nate's cousin, Cara. Luke was one of the ring-bearers and loved everything about being a part of the special day! But, he also enjoyed some of the fun things that Memphis had to offer. We spent our non-wedding related time exploring the city!

We met the "duck master" and watched the ducks march out of the hotel elevator and into the fountain in the lobby at the Peabody hotel (strangest tourist attraction ever, but interesting, nonetheless!)

We took a tram ride over to Mud Island. Luke thought it was neat to be riding "upside-down" on the rails.

We checked out a huge barge on the Mississippi River.

And, played in a model Mississippi River for several hours! Luke walked the whole distance inside the river! He navigated the rough grade and twists and turns!

Then, we got all gussied up and went to the wedding! Luke did a great job as the ring-bearer and looked mighty handsome too!

He was such a good helper to his younger second cousin, Carver!

Daddy and Luke had a face-off about who looked more handsome! It's a toss up for me!

So serious!

And, not so serious! Luke had so much fun at the party. He danced the night away and dressed up with the rest of the bridal party!

He wants to know when he can be in another wedding! I guess he's for hire, people!
