It's time for an adoption update.
There really is not much of an update, actually. We are still waiting and have passed the 6 month mark of doing so, which is exactly what we expected, but not necessarily what we were hoping for. Yet, we press on, being patient for God's perfect timing for our family.
In the meantime, we are busy updating our home study. Since we moved, we have a bit more paperwork to do. Yeah! (not so much). And, we also participated in a fundraising run for our adoption agency this fall. Nate's brother, Justin, was in town, so he ran alongside Nate (although, he'd probably call it jogging, not running), and Luke and I spectated. Luke also got to participate in the "fun run", which he loved! It was a great morning to support our agency and connect with some other adoptive families. Please continue to pray for us in the waiting.
