Springtime Fun!

Our spring has been full of fun and new experiences!

Luke has learned to do some new things, like monkey bars and riding his scooter.

Mommy had to give it a whirl as well!

Over Spring Break, we visited Conner Prairie, where Luke built this neat sculpture and learned how to throw a Tomahawk.

We also spent part of our spring break week at Camp Challenge, helping to get the camp ready for summer campers (Luke spent a lot of time playing hard in the creek and on dirt piles too!). It was chilly, so Evie and I stayed bundled or helped inside with paperwork filing or t-shirt folding/ organizing. Daddy helped refurbish a cabin and hang netting on the paintball course.

Needless to say, someone was a bit worn out from all the work and fun!! We found him passed out like this right before dinner one night after he went to his bed to read and rest for a few.

Speaking of reading, there's been a lot of that going on in our house as of late. And, it's so very convenient for us, as it keeps both kids entertained! Luke is a great reader and Evie, a captive audience!

Other excitements this spring included meeting a new friend, Roslyn, and her mommy, Meghan. We feel blessed to have someone in a similar journey as us so close by. This awesome family also worked with Faithful Adoption Consultants to connect them to their chosen girl! There is just about a 7 week age difference between these two.
