Half Way to a Year!!!

Today is Luke's 6 month birthday!! We can't believe half a year has already past and in another half year, he'll most likely be walking and talking!

These days Luke is sitting up on his own for long periods of time, looking at his world with an incredible curiosity (particularly when it involves feet...weird...we know!), and trying lots of new foods. He cut his first tooth last week (boy...that was fun!) and he is working on crawling. At this point, he most often gets to a plank position (he is crazy strong!) and scoots backwards. This frustrates him, but he'll get it soon enough. I am in no rush for this to happen. I love this stage! I can sit him down to play with his toys and I know he'll stay there, yet I don't need to worry about him falling over anymore! Nonetheless, I am his mom and I am cheering him on!

Unfortunately, our regular photographer, Joei, was unable to take these 6 month photos for us since her baby is due to arrive any day now, but my good friend, Brian, from high school was able to capture some amazing shots for us...perfectly documenting Luke's personality and love of life!
