Mr. Independent=Lots of Boo-Boos

Luke is becoming more and more independent every day, wanting and trying to do more for himself and on his own. He is doing things like this...



But, with this independence has come lots of accidents (since Mom and Dad are not right by his side all the time). We've had lots of bumps on the head, scrapes, bruises, a cut on the lip, and perhaps the best (in Daddy's eyes at least) was the black eye pictured below. He had a run-in with the corner of the table.

We've become quite familiar with ice and band aids around here. We wouldn't trade it though, as we are proud of him taking more risks and stepping away from Mommy and Daddy's hands from time to time!
