We spent Luke's 2nd Birthday doing what he loves best...being outside, walking in the woods, and eating ice cream! We had gorgeous weather, so we headed out to a hiking trail in the morning and we walked, listened to birds, found sticks and rocks to throw in the water, and then ate a picnic lunch together. We were so glad Daddy could join us for part of the hike too! We headed home for nap after all the excitement [but guess who decided he didn't need one? (as if he had to prove he was a big boy now!)]. Anyway, we had some "rest time", then had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and went out to Handels for ice cream. It was a fantastic day!

Later that week, Luke opened some gifts from family members...a baseball tee and bat from Aunt Deb and Uncle Zach, and some legos and summer clothes from Aunt Becky!
And here is Luke opening his new tricycle from Grandma and Grandpa! He was so thrilled to have his very own bike!
