We Have a Fisherman!

This does not come as a huge shock, but Luke has found a new love...fishing. Imagine that. The boy who loves water and the outdoors likes to fish.

Nate typically has a Daddy-Son date with Luke on Wednesday mornings, while Mommy gets some time to exercise and run errands. A few weeks ago, on a beautiful morning, Nate decided it was time to initiate Luke to the world of fishing. So...they spent their Wednesday morning buying a Luke-sized pole and bait, then headed to a local pond to begin the adventure. And, it did not disappoint! Luke caught 5 fish (reeling them in himself!), was not afraid to hold them, and even volunteered to throw them back into the water (again...not a huge shock considering his love to throw all things into the water!). I'm not really sure who had more fun, Luke or Nate. They were both so excited to tell me all about it when they returned at lunchtime. They have since gone one or two more times, so I think it's safe to say we have a budding fisherman on our hands!
