I think we can officially say that Luke is a swimmer! He is getting really proficient, and loves to spend as much time as he can in the water! The year he spent in swimming lessons has helped him so much, and he received some really great instruction at Stony Creek! We have decided to pull him out of lessons for awhile, while he begins preschool, especially considering he is doing so well! Check him out here, during his last lesson in August:
And, here too, trying the "butterfly" or "dolphin" stroke for the first time:
He got to put his swimming into practice on Labor Day weekend, enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's brand new pool! He was jumping into the deep end, swimming across the length of it, and having a great time! Way to go, Luke!
