Here are a few photos from our Easter celebration at the Pyle home this year:
We did these "Resurrection Eggs" with Luke this year to help teach him the story of Easter (and yes...we opted to skip the bunny altogether! Where did that tradition come from anyway?)
He opened one egg every night at dinner leading up to Easter. It's amazing how excited he got to find simple objects such as a heart sticker, band-aid, stone, or wooden cross inside. It really surprised him on Easter morning when he opened the last egg and it was empty!
We did do an egg hunt in our backyard. But...we didn't fill the eggs with anything. He found joy in the simple search. Of course we did it more than once!
And, here are a couple pictures of our handsome boy on Easter morning!
The Easter basket ! (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for helping Mommy and Daddy fill this!)
