We spent Memorial Day weekend with Nate's family and the extended Pyle family side. It was so great to be able to reconnect, enjoy the fabulous weather, play games, chat, and eat good food!
Luke had tons of fun playing with his "cousins" (they are technically his second cousins). He asked us after the weekend was over "How come I have so many cousins now?". Regardless, he just loved having other little ones to play with!

| We had our first annual cook-off, with the secret ingredient being bacon. Nate and I took the prize for presentation with our fancy bacon straws for coke floats! |

| Luke had the opportunity to see and touch a hummingbird up close when we found an injured one on the deck. Luckily, he recovered and flew away when we were done checking him out. |

| And, Luke took a trip to Uncle Dirk's farm with Papa to see the big tractors. |
 |
| He also spent a morning at the Critter Barn, one of his favorite places, and the only request he had about what he wanted to do when he went to Meme and Papa's house! |
