Lukeisms

Here comes another round of "Lukeisms" for you!

Spankings are somewhat of a new thing around here. For so long, Luke was such a compliant child we did not have to implement much discipline at all. So, along with the new form of punishment, came a new word, and Luke didn't quite get it right (maybe because he was often screaming so loud when we used the word!). I still haven't corrected him because I think it's pretty cute.
"I don't want a spanky!!"

We also have had quite the humor around pooping in the last couple of months. See this post for more on this (really, all we can do is laugh, because if we don't we'll just be angry or frustrated!). Here's one of things Luke said one time when he got constipated:
"My butt's not happy."

(While riding in the back of the car on a warm day)
"I'm a little hotty."

Luke: "Daddy, what do you have in your head?"
Nate: "My brain is in my head"
Luke: "I think trains, and boogers and Bibles"

(While feeling Daddy's gums)
"That kind of feels like cheese on a sandwich"

Thankful for the giggles these sweet words have provided!
