We were so glad that Stacey and Van came to visit us a couple of weeks ago! It had been way too long since my cousin, Stacey, and I had seen each other (we figured the last time was at my baby shower!), and it was definitely time for our boys to meet each other! They sure got along well, hitting it off from the very beginning. The boys spent their days playing hard together, using their imaginations, and doing a lot of leading (Luke) and imitating (Van)! Stacey and I got some good chances to catch up, too; over a cup of hot tea on the sunny porch, and while the boys were sleeping. Plus, we were able to show Van and Stacey some places that we love around town!
We checked out a new park,
visited the pumpkin patch,
where the boys had a ball with the hay,
explored the patch,
and posed for some pics (see what I mean...Van wanted to see and do everything Luke was doing...and Luke didn't mind one bit!).
They also raced some rubber duckies together.
The boys had a ball at the Children's Museum.
They created this gorgeous "glass" sculpture together,
and did some construction work (among much more!).
They also enjoyed some cuddle time with stories and movies together.
Thanks for making the trip to come visit us! Come back anytime!
