Luke can never get enough of time with his grandparents. He loves them all so much, and it's fun to watch as his relationships with each of them develops in a unique way. He likes to explore anything new, and help with any sort of task (pulling weeds, doing dishes, etc.) with his Meme. He can't get enough drive time (car, tractor, whatever), and loves to play rough with his Papa. Luke has started to learn how to make jokes and play tricks with his Grandpa, and he likes to learn new things, read books, and play with purpose with his Grandma. No doubt, these all reflect the personalities of his grandparents too, but I love that Luke "gets" them, despite not seeing them as often as he (or we) would like!
My parents came to town for an entire week at the beginning of July, to spend time with and care for Luke, so I could devote my time and energy to running the VBS program at church. Here are few pictures from the fun week they had together:

And, playing at the splash pad

Thank you Mom and Dad for caring for Luke so well, and for allowing me the time and space I needed to serve our children at church!
